How long have you been a self-proclaimed baldie?
I’ve been a self proclaimed baldie since 18 years old
Did anyone inspire you to cut your hair? (include @ name if possible)
My mom inspired me to cut my hair, for as long as I could remember my mom always had short hair! And what I loved about my moms short hair, was that she was always changing and switching it up.
What made you decide to cut your hair?
I was fresh out of high school, and I just wanted to cut it. Growing up around a woman who is so confident in her skin having little to no hair was amazing to watch growing up. And I just knew I would look amazing in a short hair style.
What reservations/fears did you have about cutting your hair?
My only fear was getting tired of the hairstyle I had to fast and wanting to go back to the weaves and wigs.
How did you prepare yourself for your hair cut?
What I did was research! Also with my mom having short hair for 20 + years, she definitely put me on game lol
But I also didn’t cut all of my hair off at once! I started with a Meagan good hairstyle and once I got more comfortable I started cutting my hair more and more.
What was your initial reaction to seeing yourself with short hair?
My first initial thought was “omg I love it”
Did cutting your hair symbolize anything to you?
It symbolized me being more and more comfortable with my features and flaws.
Do you plan on ever growing your hair back out?
No I don’t, it will have to be for a serious reason.
Did cutting your hair hurt or help your self-confidence?
It definitely help my self confidence!
Do you regret your decision at all?
NEVER!
