How long have you been a self-proclaimed baldie?
Off and on 2 years, going on 3!
Did anyone inspire you to cut your hair? (include @ name if possible):
@04009 A dear friend I have known for many, many years who made the chop years ago and rocks it so well!
What made you decide to cut your hair?
Going through so many hairstyles, all of them which I really liked or loved. But nothing feels as liberating or free as being bald. Having no hair, and feeling like people actually focus on me than my hair.
What reservations/fears did you have about cutting your hair?
Them: “Why did you cut off your hair?!”
Me: “Because it is MY hair, not yours”
Or
Them: “Why did you cut off all your hair?”
Me: “I have never felt more like myself.”
How did you prepare yourself for your hair cut?
I cried for about 15 minutes, then took scissors and said to myself “I’ve done this before and I’m doing this again. You are beautiful with or without hair.”
What was your initial reaction to seeing yourself with short hair?
I loved it! Since I have had a buzzcut before, I knew I would love it but this time around I had previously dyed my hair blonde weeks before and I’ve been dying to try the look, still in love. Keeping it like this for awhile!

Do you plan on ever growing your hair back out?
Maybe one day, but for now I’m rocking this cut.
Did cutting your hair hurt or help your self-confidence?
It helped my self confidence a great deal. Everyday I wake up and look at myself with no makeup on and this beautiful face and short hair and I feel like I can see myself for me, without hiding behind any hair.
Do you regret your decision at all?
I do not regret cutting my hair at all. It will grow back if I ever decide to. I was born without hair, that is how I was welcomed at my purest form into the world. That is my ultimate goal, to live in my purest form, buzzed and happy
