How long have you been a self-proclaimed baldie?

Late August/early September 2016

Did anyone inspire you to cut your hair? (include @ name if possible)

the first time I cut my hair short it was @dejloaf but when I buzzed it I inspired myself

What made you decide to cut your hair?

I kinda wanted to see if I could pull it off

What reservations/fears did you have about cutting your hair?

I was kinda scared that I'd have like a really weird head shape and I'd have to wear wigs until my hair grew back (and my hair grows slow) like I remember watching videos of girls doing the big chop on YouTube and trying to visualize myself bald 😂

How did you prepare yourself for your hair cut?

Watching videos and finding pictures of bald girls I guess. I'm a pretty fearless person though I remember at first it was just something I was thinking about then one random day I woke up and I was like no I'm tired of always thinking about doing this but never doing it and I got the clippers and shaved it all off, just like that

What was your initial reaction to seeing yourself with short hair?

I was so shocked like it's different imagining it and actually seeing it, I remember thinking my head looks so short now

Did cutting your hair symbolize anything to you?

It symbolised new beginnings and letting go of trivial fears and insecurities.

Do you plan on ever growing your hair back out?

Never, I love how I can wake up in the morning and decide if I wanna be a dude or a girl 😂😂

Did cutting your hair hurt or help your self confidence?

Definitely helped, like when you look in the mirror and you have no hair and no/minimal makeup and you still slay you feel like a million dollars

Do you regret your decision at all?

No, never
