Did anyone inspire you to cut your hair? (include @ name if possible)
Mo, I follow her on Instagram and Twitter @_forestb. Also Alissa Ashley, I seriously love her blonde short cut!
What made you decide to cut your hair?
One reason I cut my hair was because I was tired of doing it, if we are being honest. I never looked at hair as this prized possession that made me who I was, it was just hair. Everything changed once I actually went to the barber. I sat in that chair and I soon realized that at this moment I was making a bold move. I wanted something new, something fresh and fabulous that I knew not many people would or could rock like me.
What reservations/fears did you have about cutting your hair?
I did not want to look like a dude. I was so fearful of looking to masculine.
How did you prepare yourself for your hair cut?
I had a short little fro before cutting it all off. I cut down my back and then sides. Eventually chopping of the top shorter and shorter.
What was your initial reaction to seeing yourself with short hair?
I never felt more beautiful. When I tell you I felt like a true queen, it was at that moment that I began the journey of spiritual freedom.
Did cutting your hair symbolize anything to you?
Queendom
Do you plan on ever growing your hair back out?
Sometimes but I am addicted to the short hair life.
Did cutting your hair hurt or help your self confidence?
It helped 100% if anything, when I look in the mirror it helps me realize who I am.
Do you regret your decision at all?
NOT AT ALL!
